Privacy, plainly.
You deserve to know what happens to your data. Here's the whole story. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll fix the wording.
What we collect
When you sign up, we store your email address and (if you provide it) your name. That's handled by Clerk, our authentication provider.
When you use Dispatch, we store the beats you create, the sources you track, and the articles you save. That's the whole database.
We do not use analytics tracking, advertising pixels, session replay tools, or any third-party script that follows you around. Our site loads one font file from Google Fonts — that's the only third-party request your browser makes.
What we don't do with your data
- We don't sell it to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
- We don't train AI models on it.
- We don't show you ads.
- We don't share your reading history with publishers.
- We don't build profiles of your interests for anyone but you.
Cookies
We use one cookie: your authentication session, set by Clerk so you stay logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies.
If you enable the daily digest, we send one email per day to the address you signed up with. You can turn it off in settings at any time. Transactional emails (password resets, receipts) are sent through Resend, which processes them on our behalf.
Your rights
You can export your data (beats, saved articles, notes) anytime by emailing us. You can delete your account from the settings page; when you do, we purge everything from our database within 30 days.
Service providers we use
- Neon — hosts our database (US)
- Vercel — hosts our application (US)
- Clerk — authentication (US)
- Resend — email delivery (US)
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy covering how they process data on our behalf.
